Thursday April 19, a KWPN (Royal Dutch Warmblood Horses) studbookselection took place at the Sunrise Stables in Assen. Rider Gotien Sipsma rode a very nice IBOP test with our dressage mare Belletaire (Uphill x Amethist). They gained the following points: walk 8,5, trot 7,5 and canter 7,5. With these good points she became easily STER at the selection that followed the IBOP. A very nice result! Gotien will start Belletaire at Z dressage level the coming time.

Saturday March 31st, the firts outdoor competition took place. A nice experience for the young horses! Siska Kroondijk gained a fourth price and 184 points with Wianne SBH and Kaisa Helpiö rode Chiquey SBH (KWPN) en Burggraaff SBH and gained accordingly 178 and 180 points.

Spring definitely arrived at SBH-Horses. March 5 the first filley from Teeuwis is born. She is doing fine, the next foal is expected around April 01.

December 2011 SBH-Horses acquired the Safety Certificate which means they are officially acknowledged as a safe facility where practical students can do their practical experience. Also in winter the southwest of Friesland (Gaasterland) is nice. Also this time of the year our comfortable appartment is available to enjoy the winter in Friesland.

From November 28 till December 2nd the first round of the KFPS stallionselection 2012 took place in Ermelo. For SBH-Horses it was a good week, three out of six got an invitation for the 2nd round in January in Leeuwarden, automatically they became 'Ster' because of this. It's about the following three:

Nummer 134 Doekle fan "Bosksicht" (Doaitsen x Wicher)

Last month SBH-Horses has joined two horsefairs in China. In China the popularity of the Friesian horse is growing, that is why Sjoerd Meekma of SBH-Horses attended the China Horse Fair in Beijing from October 13 - 15 oktober and the HORFA in Shanghai from October 28 - 30. Also the KFPS was present to promote the Friesian Horse in China.

 Thursday July 21 one of the Dutch breeding associations (Ta it Bihald) held her first day of selection (Keuring) and our three year old mare Catharina fan "Bosksicht" gained her Ster nomination. She could enter as first one of her group and stayed at that place. She is rewarded with a second Premie.  
Catharina is mare out of Doaitsen and mother Hiske fan "Bosksicht" a first premie Stermare out of Tsjerk. Hiske is successfully breeding in the USA with owners Paul and Julee Kula.
